Want to take a walk along a beautiful swamp? Lithuania has lots of beautiful nature, but this place is truly exception-al. Varnikai Botanical-Zoological Reserve Cognitive Walking Way is a 3.5 km long trail. It covers two types of terrain and landscape: the hilly forest terrain formed from the edge of a glacier and a swamp with tiny lakes. So, whatever nature you like, take the opportunity to see it in from up close. In Varnikai, it will reveal to you a myriad of both vege-tation and wildlife, and you will find fascinating panoramic views alongside the beauty of the tiny lakes. Once you have taken a break between the lake and the marsh, you can proceed to completing your hike and, having paced half of the recommended daily steps, clock up the other half by heading over to another nature corner of Vilnius surround-ings, for example- Neris Regional Park in the nearby Dūkštos.
