Christopher’s Summer Festival

Jul 01 - Aug 28

Born in the backyards of Vilnius Old Town in 1995, Christopher’s Summer festival has eventually grown to one of the 70 best European cultural festivals. During the festival, in July and August, the capital holds over 40 events dedicated to high culture lovers. From sacred music to the frenzy of gypsy jazz- the program of this festival is designed for the pleasure of music connoisseurs. As the event grew in scale, it also expanded its map, inviting us to listen to music both surrounded by an industrial atmosphere at a technology factory, and along the banks of Neris, that hypnotize with the flow of the river’s stream. Visitors are attracted to the festival not just by local, but also famous foreign performer names. So, if you like classical music and have some long summer days to spend in Vilnius, spend your evenings warming up not just the body, but also the soul. Head for the concerts on foot – the majority of these take place in the Old Town, separated by just a few hundred steps.
